An excellent, one off opportunity for a Lettings Manager to join a thriving independent property company who are soon to be opening their new office in central Manchester. My clients have an already succesful investment business and are now looking to recruit a Head of lettings to oversee the lettings/ property management department and help to grow the business. Ideally the successful candidate will be a strong Lettings/ Branch Manager and have experience of central Manchester.   Head Of Lettings – Benefits

  • £30k - £35k basic dependent on level of experience  
  • £40k - £45k OTE
  •   Parking permit

Head Of Lettings – Duties

  • Drive revenue and look for new and innovative ways to increase overall lettings business
  • Attending and instructing lettings valuations
  • Overseeing an extensive portfolio of properties ensuring compliance and efficient management
  • Oversight of onboarding new stock
  • Anticipate business needs and adapt accordingly
  • Training and developing of your team
  • Supporting and guiding the team to achieve personal and branch key goals
  • Fostering a positive culture, motivating and leading your team from the front
  • Reviewing, analysing and improving process and procedure where necessary to optimise team and branch performance
  • Cultivating and nurturing long lasting relationships with landlords and key stake holders
  • Management of escalation with tenants and landlords
  • Reporting on profit and loss and forecasting.
  • Engaging in strategic conversations with the wider management team.
  • Staying informed and up to date on legislation and upcoming changes, ensuring your team are trained and adapting as required

Head Of Lettings – Experience Needed

  • Previous experience as a Lettings Manager.
  • ARLA qualified or equivalent ideally
  • You will be a strong communicator with excellent inter-personal skills.
  • Negotiation skills are key and you will be well-spoken and well-presented.
  • Man management experience.
  • Proven track record in driving business forward, managing risk, regulation, and generating new business.
  • Some Property Management experience essential.
  • Excellent knowledge of the lettings process and legislation.
  • Able to motivate, manage, and lead by example
