Part-time Receptionist/Administrator

Manchester City Centre

3 days per week - Mon, Tue, Fri

£32,000 pro-rata

Join our client's dynamic team as a Part-time Receptionist/Administrator and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operations of their Manchester office. With a warm, welcoming, and friendly persona, you will be the face of their organisation, providing excellent front-of-house services and maintaining impeccable communication skills.

Key responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contact, greeting visitors and answering phone calls, demonstrating your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Manage catering orders and update overhead costs, ensuring the office is well-supplied.
  • Maintain stationery orders and update overhead costs, keeping the office stocked with essential supplies and ensuring efficient administrative processes.
  • Handle letterhead orders and update costs spreadsheet, contributing to the organisation's professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Take ownership of coffee machine orders/faults and update overhead costs.
  • Take charge of purchasing toiletries, making sure the office is always well-stocked and inviting.
  • Coordinate milk orders/amendments, guaranteeing that everyone's coffee or tea is just the way they like it.
  • Programme staff ID cards and update the register, maintaining order and security within the office.
  • Allocate lockers for new starters, ensuring they have a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Assist in booking trains and couriers, demonstrating your excellent organisational skills, and contributing to the team's efficiency.
  • Update contract docs tracker and scanning, supporting the team in their document management processes.

Qualifications:

  • Previous reception and administration experience within the professional services sector
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, enabling seamless interactions with colleagues and visitors.
  • Exhibit a warm, welcoming, and friendly persona, creating a positive and inviting atmosphere.
  • Display strong organisational skills, enabling you to successfully manage multiple tasks.
