Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Principal Consultant (from any sector within search and selection) to lead our business focusing on the consumer product sector. As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for driving business development, managing high-profile client relationships, and delivering exceptional recruitment solutions. Your expertise will shape the strategic direction of our FMCG practice, ensuring we continue to set industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the FMCG sector, expanding our client base and increasing market share.
  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their recruitment needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and support junior consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Strategic Recruitment: Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, from job specification to candidate placement, ensuring high-quality and timely results.
  • Market Insight: Stay abreast of industry trends and market conditions to offer informed advice and guidance to clients and candidates.
  • Brand Advocacy: Represent our consumer product organisations on the market as an extension of their business, enabling for you to find the right talent for their organisation with adequate representation.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 2 – 4 years within recruitment especially experience within a 360 perm recruitment role from business development to post placement care.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of perm recruitment, with a proven track record of success in chosen market.
  • Skills: Strong business development acumen, excellent client management abilities, and a knack for strategic thinking.
