This role in the FMCG industry is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Product Development Engineer to work for a Global business on an initial 12 month contract basis. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of innovative consumer goods, bringing fresh ideas to the table.

Description
As the Junior Product Development Engineer your duties will include, however will not be limited to:
- Mix, test, develop and improve product formulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and suitability for manufacture.
- Conduct research on product materials and manufacturing processes.
- Liaise with customers regularly regarding product performance and improvements.
- Prepare product reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information.
- Maintain product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
- Support the senior engineers in product development projects.
Profile
A successful Junior Product Development Engineer should have:
- Previously worked in a similar Product Development position within a manufacturing environment (ideally FMCG)
- Worked supporting a lab in a previous position.
- A degree in Product Design Engineering, Chemistry or a related field.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Working knowledge of SAP ideally.

- A fantastic work schedule from 7.30am - 4pm, Monday - Friday with some working from home where appropriate.
