We have a very exciting opportunity for a Marketing and Development Assistant to join a prestigious and large law firm based in Manchester City Centre! This role is up to 28k a year and a hybrid model.

This role is perfect for someone who has worked within marketing or business development for B2B within professional services and is looking to take the leap into a new environment or a step further in your career.

The role would be supporting the Marketing activities across Manchester and Birmingham and would include occasional travel to Birmingham office.

The duties for the role would include:

  • Plan, attend and manage different events, conferences and seminars
  • Assist with sourcing different information for press releases and regional social media posts
  • Develop an understand of the clients in the firm and the markets
  • Take a leading role in executing new initiatives and campaigns
  • Implementing new marketing plans with the Business Development Manager
  • Travel, diary, expenses and travel management
  • Co ordination legal directory interviews and submissions
  • Input into bids, pitches and capability statements

For this role it would also be ideal to have experience attending networking events and confidence liaising with fee earners and stakeholders, excellent IT skills and competency and flexibility to work outside office hours occasionally if an event is running.
