Area to be covered: North West & Scotland
Remuneration: £40,000 - £45,000neg + £10,000 - £20,000+ uncapped commission
Benefits: £550 car allowance negotiable or company car & benefits package
The role of the Area Sales Manager Hand Tool Products will involve:
Field sales based role, promoting a manufactured range of hand tools and saw horses
All of your time will be spent selling to wholesalers, distributors, DIY sheds and merchants
Inheriting an underperforming territory currently turning over £250k
Occasional overnight stays
Attending trade shows, events held at dealer premises, and visiting end-users sites
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager Hand Tool Products with:
Must have a proven track record in construction field sales
Must have sold a related products such as: DIY, hand tools, power tool , woodwork tools, cutting tools, tools, fixings, fastenings, construction consumables etc
Excellent communication skills
Excellent presentation and demonstrating skills
Ability to pick up product knowledge and health & safety information efficiently
A practical and professional hands on competent approach
Excellent organisational / territory planning skills
