Description

As an NGS Product Development Team Lead based in Manchester you will:

  • Provide scientific expertise and technical input on varying NGS projects
  • Provide effective team leadership and management to support with progressing projects through stages of product lifecycle
  • Plan and report on project deliverables ensuring activities are carried out to schedule by organising resource and communicating within team
  • Deliver optimised assays and workflows successful for Product Transfer to ops & tech support
  • Optimise and oversee system integration activities

Profile

To be successful you will have:

  • Bsc or further degree in Molecular biology or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working with NGS technologies, preferably spanning short and long read platforms
  • Expertise in development, verification and validation of NGS technologies and molecular diagnostic assays
  • Ability to lead and mentor teams or scientists in a fast-paced environment
