Our client is an independent privately owned forward-thinking freight forwarder with a family ethos. Founded over 20 years ago, they have experienced considerable growth and offer a full multi modal service, import and export services via Air, Sea and Road Freight.

We are now looking for an experienced and motivated Customs Broker to join the team at the office in Wythenshawe. Your role involves assisting in clearing air, sea, and road import and export shipments, including T1s and TSS declarations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the clearance of air, sea, and road import and export shipments.
* Handle T1 and TSS declarations accurately and efficiently.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant customs regulations and procedures.
* Manage your own desk and work under your own initiative.
* Maintain excellent communication and relationships with clients and colleagues.
* Provide guidance and support to clients regarding customs clearance processes.

Requirements:
* Minimum 2+ years of experience in customs clearance.
* Good knowledge of customs regulations.
* Ability to work independently and manage your own desk.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is advantageous.
* A positive and pleasant personality with a strong work ethic

Benefits:
* Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum dependent upon experience
