Sonic Summary

The job position is for a Roofer in the Manchester and Lancashire areas, offering a rate of £19.00 per hour under CIS.
Candidates are expected to have experience in social housing maintenance and customer-facing roles, with previous experience as a Roofer or Roofer's Mate.
The role involves conducting roofing installations, repairs, and maintenance on tenanted properties while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
While an NVQ or equivalent in Roofing is preferred, it is not essential; however, candidates must have Asbestos Awareness and a full UK driver's license.
This is a temporary-to-permanent position starting ASAP, with a company van and fuel card provided for the successful candidate.

We're excited to work with one of our esteemed clients, a leading provider of social housing maintenance services, to recruit for a Roofer. The successful candidates will service properties across the Manchester/Lancashire Area.

You will be required to work on tenanted properties to complete responsive maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities:

Conduct roofing installations, repairs, and maintenance.
Work on various roofing projects, ensuring safety and quality.
Meet client expectations and safety standards.

Requirements:

Asebstos Awareness
NVQ or equivalent in Roofing (Preferred but not Essential)
Full UK Drivers Licence
Experience in social housing maintenance and customer-facing roles.
Ability to work efficiently and independently.
Previous experience as a Roofer & Roofer's Mate

Skills Needed:

Renew slates and tiles etc
Renew Felt and Batten
Pointing
Lead work.
Repair flat roofs.
