- Attending customer sites to carry out a variety of jobs including removing and installing pumps and equipment. (knowledge of controls and fault-finding advantageous).
- Full scope of engineered pump overhaul, including assembly, service, testing, and stripping a wide variety of pumps and associated spares.
- Compiling required documentation, including health and safety briefings.
- Working to ISO 9001 quality procedures.
- Working as part of a busy team.
- Flexible working hours may be required at times.

About the Role

We have an opportunity for a technical, enthusiastic, and energetic Pump and Rotating Equipment Site and Workshop Fitter (Mechanical Engineer) to join our team, where no two days are the same.

Essential SkillsEssential Skills
- The successful candidate must be a time-served fitter/engineer (C&G Level 3/BTEC O.N.C) or other relevant qualifications
- Must have a good knowledge of tolerances and working to high standards.
- Ability to engage with customers and engineers
- Good timekeeping
- Valid Driving Licence
- Ideally, knowledge of pumps and rotating equipment in industrial, chemical, power generation, Petro-chemical, and water industries.
- Need a can-do approach - flexible working will be required.
- Organised - be able to work to agreed time scales.
- Clean and presentable appearance.
- This can be a physically demanding position mainly using mechanical lifting equipment.
