Kinaxia Logistics are recruiting a Business Development Manager to join our Sales and Marketing team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for improvement of our market position and achieve financial growth. You will be required to define long-term organisational, strategic goals across the Kinaxia group building key customer relationships, identifying business opportunities and negotiating and closing business deals.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Identify new prospects and opportunities for warehousing, freight, co-pack, VAS (value added service) business growth
  • Build a strong new business pipeline of opportunity with regular face to face meetings
  • Secure additional business
  • Ensure added value where possible
  • Maintain a sound understanding of all services, procedures and standards offered by the Kinaxia group
  • Develop a comprehensive database of prospects on the CRM
  • Prepare detailed presentations and quotes, preparing monthly reports to the board
  • Meet individual targets set and provide support to meet annual group targets
  • Attend networking events and exhibitions

Your knowledge and experience:

  • Experience of project management
  • SWOT analysis
  • Knowledge of sales forecasts and tracking industry trends
  • Relevant industry experience to enable prospecting new business (minimum 5 years preferred)
  • Experience of devising strategic plans to expand sales
  • Ability to demonstrate, understand and apply our Company values. These are embedded in all roles and applicants must evidence these values as part of the application process.
