Business Development Manager - North & Scotland
The client is a market-leading manufacturer of premium products for HVAC
applications. Manufacturing excellence, first-class customer service and unrivalled expertise in meeting the market's needs are just some of the client's many strengths.

As the Business Development Manager, you will work within the technical part of the business to cover the North & Scotland. You will focus on building customer relationships to maximise exposure to the company, its products, and its services.

Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager - North & Scotland
Generate specifications for the Technical insulation-related product lines, taking ownership of project planning, management, tracking, and conversion.
Carry out CPDs to specifiers/ consultants and key contractors in the respective areas.
Responsible for identifying customers/potential customers, markets and product applications covering the area.
Accountable for the sales budget and formulating the annual business plans/strategy.
Initiate, develop and manage sales activities to support business objectives.
Responsible for customer communication to maximise business relationships and ensure maximum favourable exposure of the company, its products, and services.
Accountable for maximising conversion to order as a result of proactive response to customer contact, enquiries, tenders, and requests to quote.
Responsible for feeding back market information concerning competition, customers, etc., concerning project specifications, pricing, distribution, and delivery.
Responsible for providing customers with professional technical advice and support (both onsite and offsite).
Working collaboratively with other HVAC BDMs in their respective areas to gain maximum exposure.

Ideally the Business Development Manager will:
Good level of education
Proven sales and account development experience.
Experienced within a similar background, ideally familiar with selling into or within the construction industry.
Experienced within HVAC/ Mechanical sector.
Experience using a CRM system
Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual.
Proven ability to exceed targets.
Ability to be a good team player, have an out-going, adaptable personality.
Full driving license valid in the UK.
Able to travel and work away from home.
