The Role
In this role, you will focus on generating new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with clients across a variety of sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, converting leads into long-term clients.
- Conduct detailed needs assessments to understand client requirements and risk profiles.
- Provide bespoke commercial insurance solutions tailored to client needs.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Present detailed insurance proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and the competitive landscape.
- Meet and exceed new business targets consistently.
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience as a Commercial Account Executive or in a business development role within the insurance sector.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and the Manchester market.
- Excellent track record of securing and growing new business opportunities.
- Cert CII qualification (or willingness to work towards it).
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- A proactive and consultative approach to client engagement.
- Adaptable to a hybrid working model (split between office and remote).
