Salary: Up to £50,000 + Package


Job Purpose:


Join a growing UK-wide organisation as an Estimator. You will be part of a proactive Business Development team, working closely to secure new business and work on existing clients project works. This role is primarily office-based, focusing on pulling together costings and prices to send out to clients, occasional meetings with clients when required nationwide.

Responsibilities:
  • Multiple quotes and tenders
  • Performing market research on costings and prices to remain competitive
  • Collaborating with the Business Development Manager to develop strategies for winning work and how to add value to a quote
  • Working with other departments on delivery of projects and service and maintenance KPIs to adhere to pricing
  • Maintaining and updating the CRM system with client information
  • Nurturing client accounts to ensure long-term relationships


Key Skills/Attributes & Experience:
  • Proven experience in Estimating from a Technical Building Services background
  • Strong commercial acumen, understanding of costing
  • Proficiency in using Estimating software and other systems
  • Experience in Client management (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

This role would suit someone who has worked within the Building Services, Construction, Industrial Maintenance, Facilities Management, or Hire industries, or within similar sectors.

We will accept applications from those who have worked as a Junior Estimator, Estimator, Intermediate Estimator, Quantity Surveyor, QS, PQS, Business Development Manager, Business Development Executive, Commercial Manager, Estimating Manager or someone who has worked in Project Management wanting to step into an Estimation role
