The position is focused on managing and developing commercial relationships in order to advance new revenue streams and maximise profits. Time will be split between identification of new business opportunities and managing current customer accounts.
Our client is seeking a salesperson for two key regions in the UK: London and the M62 corridor. Therefore, applicants must be based within commuting distance from these two areas. As there is a high demand for travel in this role, a company car will be provided, and a valid UK Drivers Licence is required.
Some of your main activities will include:
- Developing and implementing sales action plans
- Prospecting, generating and follow-up of leads
- Technical and commercial discussions with customers
- Work closely with customers to ensure they have the correct solutions, support and assistance required
- Attending meetings and exhibitions
- Around 50% travel is expected to visit potential and existing customers
