Are you an Excel whiz with an eagle-eye for detail? Our client, a reputable organisation in the banking industry, is seeking 2 Billing Assistants to join their dynamic team on a fixed-term contract basis.

As a Billing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in reviewing fee calculation methodologies across the business. With your analytical skills, you will assess the potential financial impact of each methodology and present your findings to stakeholders. Your excellent attention to detail will be instrumental in preparing presentations, proposal documentation, and tracking communications to clients. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to develop training materials, contributing to the growth and success of the team.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Undertake review of fee calculation methodologies across multiple regions and products
  • Analyse potential financial impact of each methodology variation
  • Prepare presentation of results and proposal documentation
  • Engage with operational and engineering teams to support process enhancements
  • Support generation and tracking of communications to clients and responses
  • Assist in developing training materials as appropriate

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite of products including Excel, Outlook and SharePoint
  • Confident, proactive self-starter
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work across geographical locations and with different teams
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to think laterally to resolve issues
  • Excellent attention to detail

In return, our client offers a 6-month fixed-term contract, allowing you to gain valuable experience in a reputable organisation. You will be supported by a collaborative team that encourages personal and professional growth.

Location:

This is a hybrid working role, with a requirement to work from the clients Manchester office at least 3 days a week. You will be required to be in office 5 days a week for the first couple weeks whilst training commences.

Working hours:

Standard working hours with some flex where required.
