The Role – Finance AssistantWe are seeking a Finance Assistant to join our Accounts Receivable team. In this exciting role, you will support the Accounts Receivable Manager, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks. The Finance Assistant will handle key responsibilities, including daily financial reporting and assessing the creditworthiness of customers. Attention to detail and the ability to work under strict deadlines are essential.

Key responsibilities for the Finance Assistant include:

  • Conducting customer creditworthiness assessments
  • Overseeing customer debt recovery processes
  • Managing period-end journal postings and reporting
  • Performing balance sheet reconciliations
  • Ensuring internal controls are completed and documented on time
  • Assisting external auditors with year-end requirements
  • Undertaking additional duties as required

What We’re Looking ForTo be successful in the Finance Assistant role, you should have:

  • Experience working in an office environment
  • Strong IT literacy
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • A self-motivated approach, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Experience in accounts receivable or sales ledger, and familiarity with SAP/S4 HANA, would be an advantage but are not essential.
