Description
Finance Assistant responsibilities include:
- Daily posting of sales ledger receipts in a timely and highly accurate manner.
- Posting web transactions to the finance system.
- Managing proforma accounts ensuring customer balances are reconciled and allocated.
- Processing of customer refunds.
- Bank reconciliations for 6 bank accounts across the UK, European & US markets
- Accurate allocation of receipts and responsible for maintaining low levels of unallocated cash.
- Set up bank payments.
- Analysis of debtor reports on a weekly basis for all the UK/Export customers.
- Preparing monthly DD's report all the UK/Export customers.
- Customer Account Creation.
- Answering general accounting queries via telephone & email.
- Ad hoc duties as directed by the Head of Credit Management/FD.
Profile
The candidate will have:
- Experience within a similar role - Required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Required
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel - Requried
- High attention to detail and levels of accuracy - Required
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal - Required
