The Role

Please note that this is a 12-month maternity cover role, hybrid with at least 3 days in our Manchester office (M2 6FW).

What you’ll be doing

As part of the Accounts Payable team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring all invoices are loaded and coded correctly ready for the weekly payment run, processing employee expenses and purchasing cards through to payment, ensuring our managed service process is followed weekly ensuring payment to caretakers and third parties and recharges back to our owners, dealing with partners, sundry invoicing and journal payments to name a few. As well as taking part in any system testing and any merger and acquisition work that is required.

We currently post approx. 45,000 invoices from various sources per year which can be manually inputted, uploaded via our Auto Capture routine or via an upload, serving over 5000 suppliers.

You’ll also be liaising with various departments across the business providing continuous support where necessary. Key skills we need: We’re a team full of energy and with a passion for what we do, so it’s key that you’re enthusiastic, driven and keen to be part of a team.

What else do you need in order to succeed in this role?

  • Have an inquisitive mind and love new challenges, our business is very fast paced and constantly changing
  • Previous Accounts Payable experience advantageous
  • Excellent numerical and communication skills
  • Experience of managing your own workload
  • Experience of dealing with spreadsheets
  • not just data entry, but pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s etc too
  • You’re passionate about travel and, in particular, UK holidays
  • Ideally, you’ll have had some experience of working within leisure/travel
