The Finance Manager is absolutely amazing - genuinely, I met her and thought, I'd love to go for a drink with you after work! She is an amazing manager who has high expectations of her staff; she wants the job done and she wants the job done well but she also knows how to let her hair down with her team and have a laugh in the office!
For context, I went down to meet them, and she'd bought everyone lunch, told everyone to box off 2-3pm in their diaries so they could go for a team walk and grab some fresh air… she really is so invested in her team and its wellbeing.
So, whether you have 6 months' Purchase Ledger experience or 6 years, that's not the be all and end all for her, as long as you have the right attitude and application to your work, she wants to meet you.
