Employment Solutions are pleased to be recruiting for a Band Saw Operative. Our client is now the UK's foremost supplier of galvanised reinforcement for the trade window fabricator. We are seeking a skilled Bandsaw Operator to join a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role involves cutting metal and other materials to precise specifications, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals with experience in bandsaw operation and a keen eye for detail to excel in their craft.

This role is perfect for someone with hands-on experience in operating bandsaw machinery, a strong understanding of metalworking techniques, and the ability to work with precision. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of following technical instructions while maintaining a safe and organised workspace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate bandsaw machinery to cut materials accurately to specified measurements.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and lubrication of equipment.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings to execute precise cuts.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols, including wearing protective gear.


Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, this role offers a comprehensive on-the-job training, working hours 1pm till 11pm, Monday to Thursday with Friday off. Overtime is available. Starting hourly rate of 12.50
