Design & Technology teacher - September - Bury

Prospero Teaching are seeking a qualified, passionate and dedicated teacher of Design and Technology, to join a secondary school on the outskirts of Bury for the upcoming academic year, from September until July 2025. The role will be full time & it is essential that you hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have recent experience teaching in the Design & Technology department at a UK secondary school. Ideally having taught, key stage 3 & 4.

The successful candidate will be able to provide exceptional support to students, demonstrate good behaviour and classroom assistance/management. You will also need to be available to attend parents evenings, and departmental meetings as and when required.

Minimum rate of pay GBP153 per day

Hours 8:30AM 4:00PM

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent

Previous experience teaching in a UK school

Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided)

Up to date prevent awareness & FGM training issued in the last 3 years (essential, howevr, training can be provided)

Design and Technology Teaching experience desired

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to obtain a new one

Provide two professional references
