Drama Teacher - Salford - January start Prospero Teaching are seeking a qualified, passionate and dedicated Drama teacher to join a secondary school in Salford. The role will be on a full time temporary basis from January until July. It is essential that candidates hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have recent experience teaching Drama or expressive arts in a secondary school in the UK. The successful candidate will be able to provide exceptional support to students, demonstrate good behaviour and classroom assistance/management. You will also need to be available to attend parents evenings, and departmental meetings as and when required. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location Salford Position Drama Teacher Start date January 2025 End date - July 2025 Full time Temporary Minimum rate of pay GBP163.21 per day Hours 8:15AM 4:00PM EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent Previous experience teaching Drama in a UK school Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, training can be provided) Up to date Prevent awareness & FGM training, issued in the last 3 years (essential, training can be provided) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to obtain a new one Provide at least two professional references If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV today.
