We are seeking a dedicated ESOL Tutor to join one of our fantastic college's based in Manchester. This role is ideal for someone passionate about language education and experienced in teaching English to speakers of other languages. The successful candidate will be instrumental in helping students improve their English language skills, thereby enhancing their communication and integration into the community.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
  • Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.
  • Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback.
  • Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the campuses.
  • Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by law, district policies, and school regulations.
  • Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress and student needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A recognised qualification in TEFL or TESOL.
  • Proven experience as an ESOL Tutor or in a similar teaching role.
  • Strong understanding of the English language and ability to teach the language to students of diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise work effectively.
