French & Spanish Teacher - Manchester - Summer Term A dedicated and passionate MFL Teacher is required to work at a popular secondary school in Manchester close to Oldham, to join them on a full-time basis from after the Easter break, for the Summer term, or sooner if you are available. You will be required to teach key stage 3 & 4 French classes and key stage 3 Spanish from Easter till July 2025. Where it could then become a permanent role. This position is five days a week, full time, and is open to ECTs as well as experienced teachers. Please note you must have a teaching qualification to be considered for this role. You will be required to teach key stage 3 & 4 classes in French and Key stage 3 Spanish. You will be required to become fully involved within the department & school, like a permanent member of staff, and attend departmental meetings when required, and be available for parents' evenings as well as planning and delivering captivating, high standard lessons that will stretch the pupils in their learning. You will also be required to mark the work and provide feedback along the way. Hours 8:30am 4pm EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS: Degree educated with a good classification Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, B.Ed, QTS, etc) Previous experience working with young people (which we can reference) Experience of teaching in a Secondary School (which we can reference) Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide the training) Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, again, we can provide the training) Up to date behaviour management & FGM training (essential, however, training can be provided). TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application at a cost of GBP45.80.
