Job Description for the Geography role in Prestwich, M25:
GSL Education is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Geography Teacher, either experienced or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), to join a warm and welcoming school community in Prestwich, M25. Key Responsibilities for the Geography role in Prestwich, M25:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective geography lessons to secondary school students
- Develop and implement a comprehensive geography curriculum that meets the diverse needs of students
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching methods to support their development
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and share best practices
Requirements for the Geography role in Prestwich, M25:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Geography Teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a strong understanding of the geography curriculum
- Excellent communication
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and dynamic learning environment
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to pay for a new one
