This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher to join a vibrant team and inspire students to engage with and appreciate history in a dynamic, supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach History to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with a focus on developing critical thinking, research, and analytical skills.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-based lessons that cater to various learning styles.
  • Assess, track, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives, department meetings, and professional development.
  • Support students in reaching their full potential, both academically and personally, by providing guidance and encouragement.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour management in line with school policies.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is a mandatory requirement.
  • A passion for teaching History and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Experience teaching History at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with a proven track record of student success.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Enhanced DBS on the updated service and references.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK is mandatory.
