Female PE Teacher (Maternity Cover) Starting after October half term!Aspire People are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Female PE Teacher to join an excellent Multi Academy Trust on maternity cover basis from October half-term until the end of the academic year. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate PE teacher to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and supportive environment, working within a Multi-Academy Trust based in Manchester.Key Responsibilities:* Deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, promoting health, fitness, and well-being.* Plan and deliver a broad and balanced PE curriculum that engages all students, regardless of ability, and promotes participation in sports.* Organise and oversee extra-curricular sports clubs, inter-school competitions, and events that enhance the student experience.* Maintain excellent classroom management and ensure lessons are delivered in a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.* Work collaboratively with other members of the PE department and wider school staff to contribute to the overall success of the PE programme.Requirements:* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Physical Education * Experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting, with a strong understanding of the National Curriculum for Physical Education.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.* A commitment to promoting an active and healthy lifestyle and encouraging participation in sport.* Strong organisational skills and the ability to lead and manage sports events and teams.* A passion for fostering a love of physical activity and promoting inclusive PE lessons that engage all students.All candidates who register with Aspire People will have 2 years referencing taken up and will be required to have an enhanced DBS check completed and must be on the update service.This is a wonderful opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking team, making a real impact on students' lives.
