Teacher of Maths Responsibilities:

-Deliver Maths lessons to a range of abilities in line with curriculum objectives at Key Stage 3 and GCSE levels.

-Maintain organised learning resources.

-Support the progress of all students by taking an active role in departmental support.

-Provide clear structures for lessons maintaining peace, motivation and challenge.

-Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.

-Use creative teaching methods to engage students in lessons.

Teacher of Maths Requirements:

-Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant Degree.

-Ability to work well within a team and share best practice across the school.

-Have a committed and passionate view of students with SEND.

-Be an exceptional classroom practitioner with high expectations of both learning and behaviour.

-Hold a Child Only DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education
