Job Title: Maths Teacher (KS3-KS4)

Equitas is seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join one of our partner schools. This co-educational secondary school, rated 'Good’ by Ofsted, provides a supportive and collaborative environment where both students and staff can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons to students at KS3 and KS4, inspiring confidence and enthusiasm for mathematics.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the curriculum, ensuring all students are supported to achieve their potential.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and addressing individual learning needs.
  • Foster a classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and a love for numbers.
  • Contribute to the wider school community, including involvement in extracurricular activities and school events.

Essential Requirements:

  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting is desirable, but Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Maths, including GCSE requirements.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students through innovative teaching methods.
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
