About the role of a Maths Teacher:
As a Mathematics Teacher, you will play a crucial role in developing student's mathematical skills, analytical abilities, and confidence in tackling complex problems. This role offers the opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially A-level, inspiring curiosity and enjoyment in mathematics.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Teaching engaging and dynamic maths lessons that cater to a diverse range of students, sparking interest and enthusiasm for the subject
- Planning and delivering the curriculum with an emphasis on mastery, problem-solving, and critical thinking
- Assessing and tracking student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help students reach their full potential
- Collaborating with the Maths Department to share resources and best practices, creating a vibrant and supportive environment for both students and staff
What we're looking for:
- A qualified and experienced Mathematics Teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
- A strong passion for mathematics, coupled with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and engagingly
- Experience or a willingness to teach across various levels, from Key Stage 3 through to GCSE
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment where all students feel encouraged to excel
