Tempest Resourcing are currently looking for qualified and experienced supply teachers / cover teachers that are seeking work in secondary schools. We are working with a number of secondary schools and academies in and around North Manchester, who are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic supply teachers / cover teachers with a strong behaviour background. If you have patience, a great sense of humour, and are dedicated on improving the lives of young people, this opportunity may be for you.
CONTRACT DETAILS:
- Location - South Manchester
- Job Title - Supply Teacher / Cover Teacher
- Start date - September
- Contract type - Temporary
- Full time, part time and day to day available
- Rate of pay - £150 - £240 per day (PAYE and Umbrella available)
- Hours - 8:15 am - 15:30 pm
THE ROLE:
- Taking the lead in the absence of the teacher
- Conduct pre-planned lessons
- Encourage learning
- Managing the behaviour within the classroom
- Managing handover back to the teacher
CANDIDATES MUST HAVE:
- Relevant teaching qualification
- 6 Weeks experience working with children within the UK
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- A nurturing and caring nature
- Excellent communication skills
- DBS on update register or be willing to process a new application
- References for last 2 years work history
- Up to date CV
