Your new companyHays Education have been well established within the local area for a number of years and therefore have developed strong relationships with a number of schools based locally.Highly respected within the Education sector, Hays work exclusively with a number of schools in Greater Manchester and are currently experiencing an increase in demand for supply teachers.Your new roleJoining Hays as a Supply Teacher means you will be working on both a short and long term basis, which can be anything from one day through to full terms and even a full academic year. On a short term basis, there will be no planning and preparation required, you will simply be responsible for managing a classroom and ensuring all pupils are on task, as well as ensuring all behaviour is appropriate. When working in a longer term assignment, you will be required to complete planning and preparation, as well as the marking and assessment of pupils work. Working as a supply teacher can offer you an attractive work life balance and you can also have the flexibility to work when you want, even on a part time basis.What you'll need to succeedIn orderto be successful in securing a role with Hays as a supply teacher, you mustpossess Qualified Teacher Status and have recent teaching experience.
