Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a specialist teacher of PE and Sport to join a secondary academy in west Trafford.

This is a full-time teaching role from January 2025 to April 2025.

The Job

Teacher of Boy's PE and SportFive days a week Teaching Core PE and SportDelivery of practical and theory physical education lessonsPositive confident behaviour management skillsHappy teaching a broad range of sports and activities including football, basketball, rugby, cricket, athletics, gymnastics, hockey, badminton, tennis and handball.The academy has a very popular Combined Cadet Force Naval unit - teachers with experience as a cadet or military service or territorial army would be very welcome.The academy are interested in hearing from Early Career Teachers, experienced QTS teachers and further education qualified PE specialists with experience of teaching PE and Sport to children aged 11 to 16.

  • Hold QTS Status or QTLS
  • Recent experience of teaching key stage 3 science supported by references
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
  • Provide a CV with full employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK with no restrictions
  • This is a single sex school - this role is only suitable for a male teacher
