Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an outstanding teacher of Religious Education to join an Ofsted Outstanding college in Manchester.

The role is to cover a temporary absence from November 2024 for three months initially.

The Role

Teacher of Religious education to A level

Five days a week 9am to 4pm

The teacher will develop students' spiritual and moral development within the context of respecting the faith traditions of all members of the college community.

Teaching the study of religion, philosophy of religion and religion and ethics.

Innovative teacher able to adapt lessons to a broad range of beliefs and cultures.

As a catholic college the college are idea looking for a practising catholic or a teacher with experience of teaching

The college are interested in hearing from early career teachers, experienced QTS teachers or FE lecturers with experience of teaching Religious Education to students aged 14 to 18.

  • Hold QTS Status or QTLS or equivalent further education qualifications such as PGCE14+ or Certificate of Education
