Teaching Assistant - 1:1 SEND Support (Dukinfield, Stockport)

Are you an experienced and compassionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role? Tradewind is currently recruiting for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child who has very complex SEND needs at a Primary School in Dukinfield.

Role Details:
  • Location: Primary School in Dukinfield, Stockport
  • Start Date: Immediate start
  • Contract: Full-time, long-term
  • Responsibilities:
    • Provide 1:1 tailored support for a child with complex SEND needs
    • Implement strategies to support the child's learning and development
    • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt activities
    • Ensure a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
  • Experience working with children with complex SEND needs
  • A patient, caring, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
