About youThe successful Behaviour Teaching Assistant will be responsible for the progress and attainment of a high achieving class. In addition to this, you will work collaboratively with the class teacher and support the academic attainment of child with behavioural difficulties on a one-to-one basis.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons, managing classroom activities, and maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Provide one-on-one support to pupils with learning challenges, ensuring their understanding of the curriculum
  • Assist in the preparation of teaching materials, including setting up equipment and organising resources for lessons
  • Build a positive rapport with all pupils based on trust and mutual respect
  • Work effectively as a team player with the key stage and wider staff to share advice, resources and best practice
