Are you a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant passionate about supporting young learners? On behalf of our client school, Tradewind is searched for a skilled Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a Good school in Chorlton.
About the Role:
- Position: Level 3 Teaching Assistant
- Location: Chorlton
- Start Date: Immediate start available
- Schedule: Full-time, part-time and day-to-day
This role will include:
- Assisting a pupils with special educational needs, typically on a one-to-one basis
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of the young individual under your supervision
- Collaborating with the school team to create a stimulating, secure, and nurturing learning environment for students

The competitive pay rate for this position is between £84 and £90 per day, depending on experience.
About youThe successful Teaching Assistant will be responsible for the progress and attainment of a high achieving class. In addition to this, you will work collaboratively with the class teacher and support the academic attainment of child with additional needs on and one-to-one basis.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Assist teachers in delivering lessons, managing classroom activities, and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Provide one-on-one support to pupils with learning challenges, ensuring their understanding of the curriculum
- Assist in the preparation of teaching materials, including setting up equipment and organising resources for lessons
- Build a positive rapport with all pupils based on trust and mutual respect
- Work effectively as a team player with the key stage and wider staff to share advice, resources and best practice
