Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated Primary School in the Tameside area. This is a full-time role working within a specialist SEND resource base, supporting children in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 who have complex learning needs.

The successful candidate will provide 1:1 support, helping to create a safe and inclusive learning environment tailored to each child's individual requirements. The position is available immediately and will continue until the end of the academic year.

The ideal candidate will:
  • Have previous experience working with children with SEND, particularly those with complex needs

  • Be confident delivering 1:1 support and working collaboratively with the class teacher and SENDCO

  • Be resilient, patient, and passionate about supporting vulnerable pupils

  • Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience
