About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Alarm and AOV (Automatic Opening Vent) Engineer to join our team in Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of fire alarm systems and AOV systems in various commercial and residential properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems and AOV systems.
  • Conduct regular testing and inspections to ensure systems are functioning correctly.
  • Respond to emergency call-outs and provide efficient troubleshooting and repair services.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations.
  • Provide clear and detailed reports on work carried out and any issues identified.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest industry standards and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, AOV systems, and relevant safety standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Manchester area.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., FIA, BAFE) are highly desirable.
