Our client, a heating and compliance subcontractor, is actively seeking a skilled Gas Technical Team Leader to join their team in Manchester. As a Gas Technical Team Leader, you will play a key role in enabling the delivery of the company's future growth strategy by managing contract requirements for a range of gas-related jobs.

Full Job Description:

As a Gas Supervisor Technical Team Leader, you will be working full-time on a permanent basis, delivering services across Merseyside.

You will enable the delivery of the company's future growth strategy by managing a team of engineers responsible for gas installations, maintenance, and repairs, as well as completing void tasks, responsive repairs, and planned maintenance. The role involves working predominantly in the field to oversee a wide range of jobs in both domestic and commercial properties, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work and meeting client and business KPIs.

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Enable the delivery of future growth strategy by managing contract requirements for a range of jobs including gas installs, gas maintenance and repairs, complete void tasks, complete responsive repairs and complete planned maintenance
  • Work predominantly in the field managing team of engineers to undertake a wide range of works in domestic and commercial properties
  • Delivery of works
  • Deputise for line management
  • Complete regular asset, van stock, PPE, Uniform and vehicle inspections
  • Strong knowledge of contract parameters and implications
  • Strong knowledge of company procurement processes
  • Adopt and apply the company escalation protocol
  • Support in the field and back office with end to end processes

What we are looking for:

  • Recognised formal training attaining the relevant craft qualification
  • NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent
  • ACS Qualifications CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT
  • LPG, UNVENTED qualifications are desirable
  • Understanding of gas legislation
  • Full driving license
  • Understanding of Health and Safety and working to best practice
