About the company: I am working with a leading facilities maintenance company growing rapidly who operate in the Building Services Industry, offering great careers for progression. Our client has roughly 500 clients that they work closely with meaning loads of new opportunities coming up and room for progression within.

About the role: We are looking to take on board an experienced hard services manager to manage a flagship retail contract based in Manchester with other sites in London & Hertfordshire.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly responsibility for the management and delivery of building maintenance services in a diverse and challenging environment
  • Responsible for the daily provision of reactive and planned preventative maintenance services for building services / systems
  • Responsible for close liaison with events and exhibitions teams and their external clients when
  • undertaking fabric repair works following exhibition and events facilities
  • Liaison with specialist contractors.
  • Establishing costs (labour, materials, management overheads, consumables, etc).
  • Drafting quotations for client approval.
  • Management and coordination of delivery of works to agreed timescales.
  • Manage a small team on site
  • Ensure health and safety is adhered to and all paperwork is complete to correct standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness of plant rooms.
  • Ensure reactive maintenance is undertaken in accordance with the contract.
  • Manage minor improvements.
  • Attend client meetings.
  • Manage contractors
  • Offer technical support to the engineering and client team
