As a Service Coordinator within our Fire Division, you will play a critical role in ensuring outstanding service delivery, driving operational efficiency, and upholding our reputation for quality and dependability. Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Service Operations
- Schedule and Dispatch: Coordinate service appointments for technicians to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Customer Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and providing updates on service status.
- Technician Support: Provide resources, information, and real-time support to technicians during service calls.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure adherence to regulations and maintain accurate service records.
- Inventory Management: Oversee parts and equipment inventory to support seamless service operations.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports on service performance and analyze data to identify improvement areas.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build strong client relationships and gain a deep understanding of customer needs.
- Provide exceptional post-sale support, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Analyze customer feedback to improve service levels and identify growth opportunities.
Team Collaboration and Development
- Foster teamwork and collaboration across departments.
- Assist in training and developing staff to uphold high service standards.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:
Qualifications and Experience
- GCSEs (A-C grades) in Maths and English.
- Knowledge of fire pumps is advantageous.
- Technical background or familiarity with engineering principles.
- Experience in customer service, project coordination, or service management, ideally in the engineering sector.
Skills and Attributes
- Proficiency in service management software (e.g., SAP, ServiceNow).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- A self-starter attitude with creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis and recommend clear solutions.
Knowledge
- Understanding of engineering principles and technical processes.
- Basic knowledge of fire safety regulations and heating systems is a plus.
