Service Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Manager to join one of Carbon60's specialist mechanical equipment providers who have a proud history of providing end-to-end solutions within their field spanning over almost 2 centuries!
The purpose of this role is to oversee service works on sites across the North of the UK, ensuring seamless contract completion from the outset including the management of Labour (Inc Sub-Contractors) and Materials.
This role would be suited to an individual with a proven track record of effectively managing Service Projects, as well as people, within Engineering/Utilities.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours
Salary + Package: Up to 65,000 p/a + Car Allowance
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and organise service works across the North of England, carrying out duties associated with: Project Management, coordinating labour and sub-contractors, allocation of materials.
- Maintaining maximum efficiency and efficiency whilst operating within agreed budgets
- Ensure project are planned and carried out with the highest levels of Health and Safety - producing/amending RAMs as well as other H&S documentation/reports
- Ensure accurate scoping of site works to ensure correct information for quotation of service works
- Liaising across departments, such as the Project and Sales Teams to ensure opportunities are maximised
Requirements:
- Proven experience of project management and delivery within an Engineering/Utilities/Construction position with a strong people management background
- Highly organised with top-notch planning skills and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Commercially aware
- Flexibility to work around deadlines and project priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills at various levels
- IT literate - MS Office
- Full UK Driving License is essential
