Role: Technical Services Supervisor Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 Reporting to: Technical Manager

Description: As Technical Services Supervisor you will be supporting the technical manager by ensuring customer and supplier compliance through the Tech Team.
You will deliver and maintain BRC standards and use the inhouse system to track production, QA, and check compliance.
Your role plays a vital part in the completion of the audits and the management of the technical department.
Specifics of your Role (not limited to)
- Manage Technical Coordinators, day to day.
- Maintain and control the supplier approval database for supplier and suppliers of traded goods.
- Maintain and control supplier approval documents.
- Raw material specifications.
- Responsible for maintaining the supply chain map along with site VACCP and TACCP and meetings.
- Ensure monthly traceability and mass balance and claims are completed.
- Manager and produce month trending technical KPIs
Your key responsibilities:
- Assist in delivery of successful third-party audits (BRCGS).
- Ensure the site Quality Management System is fully implemented and harness it to drive audit ready standards.
- Respond to customer technical enquiries.
- Work with QA Manager CQA Manager to review policies and procedures ensuring new legislation, BRCGS requirements and codes of practice are appropriately implemented within the factory.
- Maintaining supplier audit schedules
- Maintaining internal and external audit schedules
Desired experience :
- 5 years’ experience in FMCG
- Previous supervisory experience
- Good technical background
- Level 3 in HACCP and Food Safety
- Educated to a degree level or similar if preferred but not essential
Working Hours:
40 hours Monday to Friday, Office based.
Travel Requirements - potentially.
