Reed Talent Solutions are working with United Utilities on the search for a Drainage Support Officer to assist with administration duties at their site in Davyhulme.
In this role you will be responsible for providing a wide range of administrative support to a multi-functional Drainage Area team of up to 80 employees responsible for carrying out work on the wastewater network at the Davyhulme Wastewater Treatment Works.
You will support to monitor and track the progress of outputs and completion of actions, coordinate internal and external communications, track written and escalated complaints, collate a variety of documents, monitor inventory, plan rotas and book training courses for team members.

- Contract: 12 months
- Hourly pay rate: £14.31
- Working hours: 8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday.
- Start date: 27th January 2025
- Training: Full training for inhouse systems will be provided

What you'll need to be successful in the role?
- Strong organisational skills as you will be responsible for record keeping and completion of specific tasks in line with SLA’s
- Good time management skills as you will need to work to deadlines to achieve objectives
- Effective communication skills as you will be liaising with both internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis
- Excellent IT skills, use of Microsoft office programmes is essential. Experience of IT systems such as SAP and GIS/mapping is advantageous
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment - this role is based at the Wastewater Treatment Works so may involve more flexibility and willingness to support others in this role
- Able to work unsupervised with initiative and have excellent problem-solving skills
- UK driving license - you will need to travel around sit and to off site meetings, so a driving license is necessary
