Sheet Metal Worker (Aviation)- Manchester - Permanent Position

Shorterm Group are been commissioned to assist a Global Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul company based in Manchester who are looking to appoint experienced Sheet Metal workers on permanent contracts.

Role Overview:

Removal of major aircraft structural sections.

Freighter to passenger conversion on B777

Working to fine tolerances and high standards.

Upholding high standards of housekeeping.

Adhering to company and manufacturers procedures.

Implementing modifications from drawings and procedures.

Shift Pattern & Working Hours: Early: 7.00am - 3.00pm or Late: 3.00pm - 11.30pm

Sick pay - 3 weeks full and 3 weeks half (starts as soon as you join), increases to 6 weeks full 6 weeks half after a years service

Overtime paid at 1.5x

Experience required:

5+ years experience working on Live aircraft

Experienced and capable of reading manufacturers drawings and SRMs.

Hold a valid UK Drivers Licence
