My client is a well-known manufacturer with multi-site operations across the UK, offering two permanent positions at their Trafford Park location.
The role involves working later shifts from 16:30 to 1:30 am, Monday to Thursday, and 13:30 to 19:30 on Fridays, following an initial three-month training period on day shifts.
Responsibilities include setting and maintaining sheet metal machinery, manufacturing duct fittings, quality checking, maintaining stock levels, and operating a counterbalance FLT.
Candidates are required to have machine operating experience, a valid FLT Counterbalance license, and must be physically fit.
The salary for this position is competitive, although specific figures are not provided, and candidates are expected to have relevant experience in machine operation.

My client is a well known Manufacturer with multi site operations around the UK.

They have 2x opportunities to join their team on a permanent basis, based at their site on Trafford Park. You will work on their later shifts of 16:30-1:30am mon - thurs and 13:30 - 19:30 on a Friday. Initially for 3 months, you will train on the day shift with working hours of 07:30 - 16:30 mon - thurs with a 13:30 finish on a Friday, before moving over to the later shifts.

Role Responsibilities:

Setting, Minding and Maintenance Sheet Metal Machinery
Manufacturing Sheet Metal Duct Fittings and Spirally Wound Tube
Quality Checking Manufactured Goods and reporting any defects to management
Maintain Stock Levels and recording use of raw materials and goods produced
Housekeeping in the Production and Warehouse areas for health and safety
Operating FLT Counterbalance to store goods, pick materials and load/unload vehicles

Skills/Experience:

Candidates need to be physically fit
Machine Operating experience
FLT Counterbalance Licence or previous licence and operating experience
