Interim Logistics Planner

350 per day plus expenses Inside IR35
Are you immediately available to draw on your experience in logistics and raw materials planning for a fast-paced role in the North West? Ideally an October start date.
In this role, you'll be responsible for raw material management, recording and analysing delivery data, ensuring maximum customer service levels working closely with suppliers, logistics providers and internal teams.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Creating and managing efficient delivery schedules to meet customer demands.
- Record logistics data and act immediately on any incoming delivery issues.
- Monitoring stock levels and ensuring timely replenishments.
- Coordinating with suppliers, transport teams, and internal departments to ensure the is efficiency within the supply chain.
- Identifying and resolving any logistics issues that arise in a practical, timely manner.
- Reviewing and improving logistics processes to boost efficiency.
- Keeping accurate records of stock movement and deliveries.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in logistics and raw material planning.
- Good understanding of internal and external suppliers.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional data management skills with an eye for detail.
- Ability to adapt quickly and make decisions under pressure.
- A hands-on approach, with good communication skills to work across teams.
- Attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-moving environment.
- Good working knowledge of logistics software and systems.
