Position Overview:

My client is an established and forward-thinking BMS (Building Management Systems) service provider, they are seeking a full-time, experienced, and adaptable BMS Service/Maintenance Engineer to join our team in delivering energy-focused support services and projects. The role involves maintaining system availability and environmental conditions to help their customers reduce energy costs and minimize emissions. The position covers the Northwest of England.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and Maintenance:
    • Perform regular servicing and maintenance of BMS systems, ensuring optimal performance and system availability.
    • Conduct small project work, including upgrades, retrofits, and small installations.
  • System Support and Optimization:
    • Provide proactive support to clients, focusing on energy management and system efficiency.
    • Identify opportunities to enhance system performance and reduce energy consumption.
    • Share innovative solutions to benefit the current and expanding customer base.
  • Client Relations and Reporting:
    • Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service and maintaining strong, professional relationships.
    • Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports on system performance, maintenance activities, and suggested improvements.

Key Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise:
    • Strong knowledge of Trend BeMS systems is essential.
    • Knowledge of Tridium systems would be advantageous.
    • Understanding of HVAC applications.
    • Demonstrated electrical skills and competence.
  • Professional Skills:
    • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
    • Strong report-writing skills to communicate maintenance activities and recommendations effectively.
    • Flexibility to cover various locations and adapt to different project requirements.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with general PC use.
